After 20 years of traveling and skiing around the world, when we moved to Canada, a home in Fernie was an idea. Our first meeting with Dave, at Elk River’s office, totally inspired us to turn that idea into a reality! Dave took the time to ultimately show us the location that we were to buy and upon which Elk River would build us a home.
Land purchased, Peter Manolakis' design completed, Dave was then engaged in every aspect of our project. Dave’s collaboration on completion of design elements, build execution and project management were top notch. He has a rare ability to visualize the end product and know how to practically achieve it. Not compromising on attention to the small details, his insight and experience as a builder and his work in this area is a great asset.
The Elk River team is all friendly, talented and high quality craftspeople who are committed to delivery of a quality product. They love what they do and it shows in the attention to detail and the level of workmanship in our home.
The care and level of service has not ended when the keys were handed over. We continue to enjoy excellent service in pursuing on going small projects at our property following completion of construction.
